B!Social turning 4!

I'd like to share with you some big news! Yes, my cute lil biz just turned 4 years old! I am so incredibly grateful for all your support, encouragement and moments we shared throughout the past years! Thank you for being part of it, for your presence and reading these posts! 

Many people ask me, so how do I do it, what's the success behind my business. I reflected on this yesterday and came up with the top 4 things. One of the main ones, definitely, is that I keep showing up... 

Since day one, and ever since. That's key. 

Let me tell you a cute story.

Some days ago, we had a playdate at our house, and while the kids were playing, I was putting the final touches on my speaker profile I prepared for a conference next year. Then suddenly, they appeared at my desk, and they spotted a pic of me on stage talking in front of a crowd.

"Wow! Are you famous?" - came the question. 
And then another: "Let's put your name in YouTube and see if you are really famous?"

I laughed, and followed the "instructions". Of course I knew that all the videos will pop up as I have my own YouTube channel and all the other people who tagged me in events, podcasts, interviews, etc will come up in the search, too. It was populating over time, yes.

I kept showing up, and there is now a nice collection of videos out there.

So the results came up in the search.... and you should have seen their faces.

"Wow, Mum, you are really famous!" 

The surprise and astonishment - it was just so cute.

Conclusion.

Yes, YouTube can make you "famous". And Social Media can, too. But fame or not, the most important, you become searchable and you can be found! If you show up!

That's key to running a business. So people can find you so they can buy from you. Otherwise, you can stay the best kept secret in the world.
