Hello 2020!! Checking in!

Yes! It’s time to #bsocialnow and check in. I guess many of you are already back in full swing, or slowly getting back to work, like me? Working perhaps on some new projects for this year, planning, getting back to getting things done. 

Business as usual? Or unusual? Changes? Shifts? Wishes? Resentments? A need to do it different this time? Better? More? Resolutions? Busy? Not busy? How is it for you?

Here is an update on how the beginning of this new decade has been for me...

I’ve been taking some time off, very consciously, just to be. To allow myself some space after a big year. It also involved significant time off social media and distractions of the Internet that I really treasured.. some time to disconnect to reconnect.

To myself. My family. Friends and people I wanted to spend quality time with. Connect with people who inspire me and open my eyes for new perspectives.

I’m currently doing a lot of self-reflection, slowly tuning into something big that has been bubbling in me, for quite some time, and finally it is starting to get ready to show up...

I’m trying to be patient, ask the right questions and trust the process I’m in. Enjoying the start of the new decade, the new beginnings, and the unknown. Trying to figure out what next, that often requires facing myself pure & raw, and accepting whatever looks back in my “mirror”. Love the process. Yes, it is a process. I don’t think it will ever stop.

I am full of plans, dreams, ideas, inspiration and I can’t wait to share my knowledge with you this year, so you can benefit from my learnings and experience more than ever!

When I launched B!Social in 2017, I knew and felt that it had to do a lot with Social Media. I looked at it as a tool to express. An opportunity for business. For us to show up. To become visible. To share with the world what we, as a business or organisation, have to offer.

I also wanted to share with the world what I had to offer. At that time though, the needs, my personal needs were different.

The needs have changed. They are changing as I write this, too. I’m changing, and thus my business is changing big time, too.

One thing I knew right at the start though, deep inside, that Social Media will be my tool. And that my offerings will go far beyond social media services. Far beyond it.

This is why I called it B!Social | Social Media and beyond... At that time, I just didn’t know what it is. I could only intuitively feel it. But I wasn’t ready for it...

We live in a time where Social Media is a tool to express. For everyone who has access to it. But what needs to be expressed? What needs to show up? What is inside that is well worth to be seen? Shown? Experienced? I imagine it is different for each and every one of us.

The tools are here. The opportunity is here. The choice is here. For me. For you. The same. But are we ready for it?
