How things evolved since the 1st Social Media Workshop...

WOW! The very first B!Social workshop exactly 4 years ago! Definitely going down memory lane!!! 😍Do you remember?

Since then, we had countless workshops, events, in person and online, with hundreds of businesses participating! Thank you to all of you who have been on this journey with me together!

Here is a little recap on how things have evolved since then, what changed, what didn't...

When launching B!Social, I wanted to create opportunities to empower businesses to make the best use of social media. They were lacking here locally.

I wanted to share and show the tools I knew about, how to get visible, and let more people & potential clients know about their businesses.

I also felt something big was missing from the digital & social media marketing space! I thought it was was very sales & tech oriented. Can you guess? Yes, it was social aspect 😄 The people connections.

At the core, I believe social media is social.
It is about connecting people.
We all know people do business with people they know, like and trust.

Very soon, my services evolved further and I started integrating social & communication skills & techniques. Fundamental things when it comes to interacting and building long-lasting, trusted relationships with people. Things I learned and used time and time again over my past careers.

And recently, something more happened. As I've been working with my clients, witnessing their challenges, understanding more and more about what keeps them back from using these tools over the years...

and as I was going through my very own journey with putting myself out there, showing up on social media on a continuous base, I realised this whole social media space goes far beyond social media!

It is the ultimate self-reflection tool!
A mirror that reflects back a wide range of issues in our current society. It pinpoints the places where people are broken. Fears, limitations, things that hold us back, from living in our full potential, connected.

It can also pave the way to places where people can find deeper meaning. The places where people don't have to desperately fulfil unmet needs, and seek validation from the outside, but can go & explore, be curious, only to realise that everything can be found within.

I am so excited for me, you, and for all of us, who are willing to explore this space from so many different perspectives.

I am also excited for change. Sometimes, very scared of it, too. 

I wonder what the next 4 years will bring...

Businesses change. To changes we adapt. With changes we change. Marketing is about change. Keeping constantly on top of changes.
​The only constant thing is change.

As an entrepreneur, as a marketer, change becomes part of your life.
