These beauties got my attention while walking my dog today. I first spotted them because of their lovely bright purple colour, a big contrast compared to the pavement's grey... Then I squat down to have a closer look. And I noticed. Wow, this picture represents so much of everything that is alive right now in my life. One of the words being: connectedness. Feeling connected. What does it mean to feel connected to others? How does it look like, sound like when we connect? How does it actually make me feel? And it's lack of it? Or when I really want it? When I need it? How do I perceive others when it happens? Or when it doesn't? What can I do to feel connected? And what do I not "do" to feel connected? What does it mean to feel connected to myself? Does connection mean/ equal being physically connected? How close is a connection connecting? When can it get disconnecting? What is too much of the connection? When does it switch to something else that is not comfortable actually... With who do I want connection? And when? And what kind of connection? I look at this picture and see so many details, so many more questions pop up. Connection is a big theme for humans. We are here to connect. Connection is definitely a big theme for me, no surprise most things I do have a strong element around connection, bringing people together and fine tuning connections. I constantly reiterate and revisit this theme so I can understand it better and better. We teach what we need to learn ourselves the most. Once I understood that, I look at things with a very connected perspective haha! :) I love the richness in the simplicity of this picture. Seeing where the flowers are connected, where more apart, yet everything is interconnected. It brings up the following 5 questions that you might enjoy reflecting upon as well: 1. Who would you like to connect with? 2. How would you like to connect with? 3. What does connection mean to you? 4. When do you feel connected to others? 5. When do you feel connected to yourself? You can ask these questions from yourself when you think about running your business or wearing your professional hat, how you connect with clients, colleagues, employees, etc., and of course, while you build your social media presence as well. You can also ask yourself these questions when you go about your life, your personal everydays, your relations that matter to you the most. I hope you enjoy reflecting, if this is a theme for you, too. I wish you a connected evening, week, and look forward to connecting at one of our upcoming events, whether you want to connect with like-minded business professionals to come together, or you want to explore connecting with yourself - either way, with lots of meaningful connection time! :) I look forward to seeing you! Bea
