Today I'd like to bring you some reflections inspired by the floods, slips and all the change, uncertainty happening in our world. We have been hit by a severe weather event this week, and I imagine many of you might have been impacted by it in various ways. This is not about marketing today and visibility in terms of showing up for others and promotion. Today is about that visibility from within that can have a huge impact on that outside visibility, when the time is right. Grab a cuppa, and let it begin... We are going through a special time. Unprecedented? Probably not. But definitely a lot of “disruption to normal”, especially in the past years, and just looking at the past days… Or maybe, a time of transition, change, growth? Maybe?
Many of you might be feeling this, that it is time for change. To step out of old patterns. The old way of doing things. Reacting to things. Being constantly consumed by things, helpless, hopeless, so terribly alone with it, and so at loss. You want it different. You want to connect without all the unnecessary drama that holds you down. But it’s hard to step out. You keep circling in the same loops. Well, change is on the horizon. It’s not without a reason that I’m putting so much focus on this inner part of visibility these days. Change is and will be happening. And if you don’t feel good, business and life, chances are, won’t feel good either. If you don’t feel good, promoting yourself will not feel good. Posting on social media for visibility won’t feel good. You can pretend a lot. But you will deep inside know how it really is. The seed is planted. I still remember the moment when it came to me when I realised I can’t stop cheating myself. And it is not without a reason I’m bringing in all the new direction, the Theta workshops, and all the sessions. As Heraclitus once said: "Nothing is constant, except for change." Change can be something to look forward to, and welcome it with open arms. If we are ready for it from this perspective. And change, can be scary. Especially the fear of the unknown, when things suddenly seem to be out of total control. Change, with all disruption and transition, will certainly keep happening. A season is about to change. The question is, how will you be part of this change? How will you look at it? Will everything you do will be overridden or motivated by fear? Will you be missing something? Unfulfilled? Will you be ready to find the silver lining in every moment, because you can choose to, because every cloud has one… or so they say? Will you embrace everything as is, and make the best of it? Full-feel-ed? The book of Dr Edith Eger, The Choice comes to my mind. A beautiful testimony that even in the darkest of times, we have a choice to choose how we live in that moment. If you haven’t come across it, I recommend it wholeheartedly. I would like to tell you. You can choose how you want to feel. How you want to believe how you can feel. How you choose to show up for yourself. And you can choose to feel good.
What does it even mean, to feel good? I truly wish you choose to discover it for yourself. Have a day filled with sun, warming you up not only from outside, but also from within!
